Rhaphis or “Lady” palms are a stunning, lush, Cold tolerant,upright landscaping palm that are also often used indoors due to their low light tolerance. Landscape uses for Rhapis palms would be screening palm or for a “bamboo” type look in a sheltered courtyard or along a fence.
Rhapis are very Tough and will often live many years in a small pot or in minimal soil (with regular watering).
Rhapis are best suited to morning/midday sun only and require somehot afternoon protection (Summer only).Rhapis palms can tolerate full day winter sun in Sydney and the South coast NSW.
Generally we have good thick full pots avail as a common line as Rhaphis are a definate favourite for us.
