Xanadu is best used as a border planting or under palms/trees for lush foliage, also usefull for bank stabilisation weed surpressing. Being fairly fast growing it will reach up to 1.5 metres in total span and occasionally produces airial roots which add to its aesthetics. Stays much greener in shade particularly if conditions are dry however will tolerate full sun.

Cold temperatures will not stop the plant however, an ice frost or prolonged 0 degrees Celsius will melt Xanadu right down to the ground.
