Strelitzia Juncea Leafless Bird of paradise

Description

One of the most beautiful dry garden landscaping plants (also looks fantastic in a tropical garden!) due to its striking blue upright rush like foliage and incredible flowers in spring and autumn.

Strelitzia Juncea is less likely to “tatter” in wind like its brother (Strelitzia Reginae) due to its lack of paddle leaves = no wind resistance.

Leafless Bird of paradise looks fantastic on mass in a mid level position (grows around 1.5m tall eventually) best to plant them in groups as they are Incredibly slow growing- often making them rarer to find and more expensive.
