Take care with your planting location of your  Giant bird of paradise as they can grow very big at the base over time, if retaining walls are insuperior in strength, over time this plant will surely win the battle over time  (6-10 years).

Strelitzia Nicolai is Best protected from strong winds as can tear the leaf. Otherwise, this plant is bulletproof and so worth planting!
