Description
This funky little ground cover has been super popular amongst garden lovers and designers the last few years.
Due to its useful nature of covering the ground and trailing over walls and rockeries, the “hairy” appearance and dark green colour of this plant is appealing to any landscape.
Cousin it grows around 10cm high and up to 1m across over time.
Fairly drought tolerant once established- requires well drained soil but being a casuarina, it loves daily watering when planted (it is a member of the swamp She Oak family)
Take care when planting your new cousin it they are delicate and the ‘mop’ head can snap off.
