Description

Zamia Furfuracea is one of our favourite landscaping plants, it is drought tolerant and is no fuss at all requiring minimal water, next to zero care or trimming. Cardboard cycads are also very salt tolerant and will grow well in very sandy soil mixes. This plant particularly loves warm winter sun!

It is not as spiky as the common Cycad (Cycas Revoluta) and has a more compact habit, making it useful as beautiful second-layer foliage or as a border plant in a warm spot.

Perfect for planter boxes or pots, they will live for many years in a pot without the need for re-Potting.

Cardboard Cycads have an amazing versatile “Fan leaf” texture that blends well into any Tropical/Mediterranean/Palmsprings syle garden.

Cardboard Cycads are a favourite and are generally always in stock here at Bamboo South Coast
